Sankalp, a Bangalore transplant, is a seasoned global executive having managed large, distributed and multifaceted teams to deliver world-class enterprise and packaged software solutions to global customers. Prior to founding Moveo Systems, he was a global Senior Vice President with Macromedia and i2 Technologies respectively and was the Chairman and Managing Director of their Indian operations. He previously held senior level management positions in sales and marketing with Oracle and Lucent Technologies and in manufacturing with Procter & Gamble and Honeywell. He is passionate about pushing the technology envelope and was identified as a visionary by Purchasing Magazine for his work in the collaborative e-procurement space.

In his free time, he is an avid reader, a wine aficionado, loves spending time with his three daughters and enjoys traveling and learning about new cultures. Is currently engaged, as the Co-founder, MD and CEO, in setting up a fund management company called Forum Synergies (India) PE Fund Managers P. Ltd. which is raising a private equity fund called India Knowledge-Manufacturing Fund – I. In end-2007, Samir quit as the President and CEO of GE Consumer & Industrial business for the India Region, which included the SAARC countries. A mechanical engineer from Bombay University and an Alumni of IIM, Calcutta, Samir has worked for companies like Tata Motors, Maruti, AMP Inc. and Tyco Electronics in functions ranging from Sourcing, Marketing, Sales to General Management.

Samir used his broad general management skills to achieve a spectacular turnaround for Tyco Electronics business in India, which he headed for 5 years between 1997 and 2002. Between 2002 and 2007, he led the business restructuring at GE C&I, first turning around the Industrial and then the Lighting businesses, through a mix of explosive growth and strategic M&A.

Is presently the Managing Director of Akzo Nobel India, a subsidiary of Akzo Nobel NV. He has proven expertise in consultancy as well as industry and his earlier stints include Birla 3M, Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young. A Chartered Accountant by training, he has honed his management skills with a Executive MBA from Stanford University and has also attended an intensive Presidents’ Seminar at Harvard Business School.

Ishwar is an active member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization) where he holds a leadership position. A visiting faculty at the IIM Bangalore and other management schools, he believes in sharing his experience with prospective managers. He also enjoys reading, traveling, golf and wildlife photography.

Is responsible for all press and brand building activities for Moveo Systems. She is a “globalist” who has, over the past 8 years, lived in the United States, Japan, and Singapore prior to moving to India along with her family. Before relocating to India, she has had the opportunity to interact with people from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds and has a passion to learn more about different cultural and business practices across the globe.

Prior to joining Moveo Systems, she completed her Masters in English Literature from Delhi University with a focus on contemporary Indian writers. In her free time, she enjoys reading, aerobics and spending time with her three daughters.
